Just haven't felt like posting for awhile...
WWE Raw has gotten too weird, so my interest has waned. Inquiring minds want to know -- what's up with mr. mcmahon?? Soooooo tired of chris jericho's crap, esp. as directed to HBK! Love that Batista's on Raw, but miss Triple H bad! and with HBK and Cena out with injuries etc, no real desire to watch...damn!
No fun cooking lately, just the usual. Have a new FABULOUS grocery nearby: Sunflower Farmers Market! AND, its open on Sundays!!!
DH's health is better, tho had a hospital stay beginning on Labor Day - thought he was having a heart attack. Fortunately, he wasn't - its probably stomach issues (perhaps caused by some of his meds). Another bit of good news is that he is finally changing his eating habits! We're on Week #2!! (yes, both of us!)
Sad news re: Texas after Hurricane Ike. All our family is ok, but P Jr's house lost all the shingles and a big limb from the neighbor's tree fell on the car we gave him. Last we heard, things are ok at C's, but that was only from his neighbor's reports since he had to be on the rideout team at work and A + kids evacuated. Shug is mothering a baby squirrel - there were 2, the mother took back only one. A bit of water damage in their living room. T is a mess - very ill with an infection, plus lots of pain...his mother and J were 100% NOT helpful in getting prepared for the storm, and slept thru it while he stayed up all nite! WTF? give me a g.d. baseball bat!
Haven't heard from CC -- figure he's busy w/ cleanup since he lives in Clear Lake area. I'll be trying to checkin with all the STI folks too...
So glad I'm not there! God bless Texas.
